People I really appreciate in my life



Emi, for being the most wonderful friend in the world, even to friends who she's not extremely close to. for being the most sacrificial person I've known in SA. for being so genuine. for hearing my whines and rants and grunts and shiz, without complaining much.

MeiTing, for being so consoling, offering good advices, and always being there to hear, and cheer others up. for being extremely keen to help and ever so accepting

Tamlyn, for her much needed acceptance

Clarissa, for not being there, yet always present.

KaiLi, for being able to smile despite vicissitudes, for being able to make me smile just being randomly there (I'm smiling now already, thinking of your glasses)

Mervin, for being my TBB and for all the chats before bed when I cannot get to sleep. for all the maturity in me, diffused from him

SSK, for being there, despite everything

Max, for being concerned, and caring. for being the next Maurice

XueLong, for the jogs, for the conversations.




I don't want to continue the list just because.
for that will generate more platitudes and that's not what this post is for.

I'm glad you're home

The time was 3:13- it has been 2 hours since we started. She mentioned something about being on the wrong path and how there's a need to u-turn before falling off a cliff. My mind wasn't processing any of that. She bent down and showed me something on her phone: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." My mind wanders off.. Is it really true? What do I have to base on? We've been seeing each other for several months now. One thing I recall is her saying that "You've been deceived".
