I bought my first Silky Girl product last week and I've been really satisfied with it. It was featured on Cleo, next to a very unflattering photo of Felicia Chin. So I thought: since I stayed a good 500m from her, why don't I show my support by buying her endorsed product? (I buy Vitagen too btw)
So here goes:
Easy application and was very interesting to play with due to the attached brush (go read cleo!). The color is (as the product name suggests) intense and I love the darkness. I hate it when black eyeliners turn out like. grey. I mean I love grey, but not when I buy a product for its black. Only downside is that it smudged after a long long long day out. It's quite inevitable because I don't usually prime my lids. But the smudge + the intense made my eyebag x100 worse so. ya, I primed my lids today :)
So this is how I look. Okay you really can't see much eye liner here, which makes the photo quite a joke, but I don't believe in thick eyeliner. I mean it looks good on people (like Fiona, Wei Ting etcetc) But I really don't like that look on me.
Anyway, my usual make up consist on only eyeliner and brow pencil and I lost my brow pencil in hall, so I'm using this silky girl product on my brows as well and it works fine. I don't really like mascara, and I don't apply it unless I have to (photoshoot?), so eyeliner's really a staple item on my face (&small eyes)
It's like going for 12.95 at wastons? Quite a steal hahah.
OKAY THE REASON WHY I BLOGGED WAS BECAUSE (no I didn't sign up for nuffnang, shut up) I'm supposed to meet someone at 9 and he just just woke up yup. I've got quite a lot to blog about (cleaning up of room, Joyce + Kelly + 1 random thought + birthday presents) but I really don't have the time to do it. Gonna visit USS today = more things to blog about, but I doubt we'll be taking any photos so. meh.
