I wrote a mid-year resolution this July and have been inching closer and closer towards my goals for the past few months. I'm also becoming a lot happier and more fulfilled in pursuing these little life goals. Here are my updates at the end of JulyAugustSeptember and October.

Resolutions which have been achieved and struck off won't be discussed here!

2) graduate with first class honors
I'm not gonna accomplish this. I know it. :( kinda screwed up the OP and thesis. Oh well, just another consequence of my action I have to live with for the rest of my life..

3) have a (non birthday related) family outing with everyone present
I'm pretty tight w my brothers and my mother. I think I may be able to convince them into having a Christmas dinner by this year haha. Do have to work on my r/s w my dad though.. Now that I don't have school, he isn't really driving me around much and there goes my only opportunity to have quality time with him..

5) be a good friend to people who matter
I'm trying to meet as many people as possible!! But I'm kinda bz (more on this later).

6) read at least a book every month
lol I didn't finish the self-help book which I wanted to read for one of my modules (ended up studying 2 h for it too). I started on gone girl and it's kinda slow. I only like reading the diary entries. Gosh I need to learn to finish what I start.

7) 3 k solo MMR? (one can hope)
hehehehe this one should be the next one off my list. I'm reallllly close.

8) get sum abz
I will get at least a 4 pac by the end of Jan. Met up with Alvyn a in Nov and he challenged me to get 6 pacs and tag him in each of them. It's a gr8 challenge and I'm gonna try my best to achieve that haha.

9) learn a new skill (drumming or German)
Drummmmmmming

ok I'm tired.

every day every hour, turn that pain into power

Psalm 84:10

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. It's been almost 500 days since I've left my full time job and man was it a journey.. thinking back of those days without my Lord, I really felt this verse speak to me. At first, guilt and shame overcame (more on that next time) - what did you do with these 500 days? What did you accomplish?  But God is gentle and kind - he spoke to me that 500 days on earth is no better than half a day in his courts. How many of us have had a bad half day? Does it affect the rest of our lives? Does it have an impact on eternity? If not, why should I let the enemy use guilt to over power me? A thousand days cannot compare to one day in your courts I'm forever yours <3

Chmel and friends - Fyona the healthy one

Fyona was active, so healthy and strong, With her radiant smile, she could never go wrong. She'd wake up each morning, full of cheer, Ready for her daily workout, oh my dear! One sunny day, Chmel joined Fyona's quest, To discover why exercise is truly the best. They set off to the gym, with excitement in tow, To learn why being healthy makes our spirits glow. In the gym, Fyona showed Chmel around, Weights, treadmills, and yoga mats abound. She said, "Exercise keeps our bodies strong, It's a special gift that we all should prolong." Next, they stretched and reached for the stars, Fyona said, "Flexibility will take you far. It helps prevent injuries, keeps us agile and light, So we can dance and play, from morning till night." They practiced yoga, finding peace in each pose, Fyona whispe...
