Love is a dish

Love in the romantic context:

"love is a dish waiting to be warmed up"

How many dishes are there in the world?
If there's only 1, what if you don't like the taste?
If there are many, why aren't you trying all of them?

I say love is a dish, yes.
But it's waiting to be flavoured and improved.

You may wait around for the perfectly grilled steak
or you could just take a rare beef and season it yourself
use the right temperature and right timing
to get it to the perfect tenderness.

Not everyone can have steak
Not everyone likes fish
Not everyone can make pork taste good

Take your pick
and work on it.

I'm glad you're home

The time was 3:13- it has been 2 hours since we started. She mentioned something about being on the wrong path and how there's a need to u-turn before falling off a cliff. My mind wasn't processing any of that. She bent down and showed me something on her phone: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."
